This month marks the 30th anniversary of Gardner/Fox Associates, Inc. one of the Main Line’s oldest and largest construction firms. Throughout its history and growth, the firm has been involved in hundreds of projects in the Philadelphia area and as far away as Washington, D.C. and New York.
Our business, like many small businesses, evolved from a friendship between two ambitious young professionals: Brook Gardner, an engineer from Virginia, and Mark Fox, an architect from Kentucky. The two future partners became close friends while they simultaneously lived in and gut-renovated their fixer-upper townhouse shells on the same block in the Queens Village neighborhood of Philadelphia. They discovered a common interest and passion for designing and renovating spaces, and wanted to share that passion with others. In spring of 1987, Gardner/Fox was born.
Gardner/Fox has successful operations both commercially and residentially due to the same core principles that we adhere to regardless of the project. We aim to provide the best service possible to our clients, partnering with them to bring their vision to life. Regardless of the size and scope of the project, our entire team is dedicated to delivering a perfect project while making the process as simple and easy as possible.
As a result of this approach, Gardner/Fox has earned recognition both locally and nationally for excellence, and has been featured in publications such as Philadelphia Home, Philadelphia Business Journal, Main Line Today, Architectural Digest, and Inc 500, as well as on HGTV.
We are thrilled to be celebrating three decades of success. We would like to extend the utmost thanks and appreciation to our employees and staff. Without your hard work and dedication, none of this would be possible. We would also like to thank our industry associates and vendors for their loyalty and service over the years.
Most importantly, we would like to thank our clients for allowing us to build their homes and businesses. We look forward to continuing to provide our clients with legendary service synonymous with the Gardner/Fox name.
