Gardner/Fox and Glenbrook Cabinetry worked together to update this elegantly eclectic style home in Bryn Mawr. The renovations included the construction of a new 670 sq. ft. 2-story addition. The homeowners chose to include a dining room on the first floor of their addition, and on the second floor, a luxurious master bath.
In a combined effort, Gardner/Fox and Glenbrook Cabinetry updated this 1915 Colonial home’s dysfunctional kitchen, to give homeowners the space of their dreams. Gardner/Fox removed an obtrusive beam in the center of the room and reworked the structural elements to create an open-concept space. Glenbrook Cabinetry designed and filled that space with transitionally designed cabinetry, which included an island, pantry wall, bench seating storage, custom range hood, and functional organizational elements. The renovation additionally included the installation of a new bar and updating of an existing powder room.

Glenbrook Cabinetry created a wet bar, wine bar, and custom vanity in this rustic chic themed basement. The use of walnut stained cabinetry created a natural yet elevated base for the other pieces that help set the tone in this basement.
To create a clean updated look in our client’s existing home office we used white painted cabinetry and extra thick open shelving. This client had an inspiration photo she wanted to mimic, and we took that and ran with it, tweaking the design to fit our client’s storage needs. To coordinate the existing crystal chandelier, we selected crystal knobs and satin nickel bar pulls. The final touch for this customized space was painting our client’s existing furniture to match the gorgeous built-ins. All of the elements came together to create this beautiful transitional space, that will have this client working from home in style!

Glenbrook Cabinetry created a simple yet elegant design for this traditional master bathroom. The soft white color of the vanities accent the grey quarts counter tops. The new space includes closet storage and a hidden coffee station.
Gardner/Fox designed and developed a master plan for this house that would renovate multiple rooms on multiple floors, while maintaining the historic integrity of the home. Although traditional finish styles were used, the home was updated to provide everything needed for the 21st century family.
A dark, dated kitchen gets an expanded footprint and crisp, white finishes with clean lines and touches of stainless steel for a bit of an industrial/modern look.
Before the renovation, the tiny kitchen literally had no upper cabinets and the counter tops were lined with small appliances and other necessary kitchen gear. The spacious new kitchen provides plenty of functional storage and the countertops remain clear for prep and clean-up activities, thanks in part to a 12-foot center island. Natural light flows into the breakfast room through a new bay window whose dimensions match the existing. The existing kitchen now serves as a casual sitting area adjacent to the addition. A built-in cabinet located in the original breakfast room was taken apart and re-built in the mudroom addition.
This beautiful new bathroom was part of a complete master suite renovation. The custom designed built-in cabinetry are complete with his and her’s sinks, as well as add a sense of classic sophistication to the space. The marble bathtub compliments the marble seat in the shower, as well as the wall coverings. A hidden pocket door creates a private toilet room, without cramping the space with a swinging door.
