In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, it’s time to discuss something that we currently adore…Natural Fiber Light Fixtures!

Lighting can make or break a room, and if you’re looking for a warm and welcoming organic feature, these pieces might be a perfect fit.

Creating a warm and welcoming space can be easy, but keeping things light and airy can be difficult in the current world of heavy brass and rich jewel tones. That is what we love about these fixtures and shades, their unique woven materials (wicker, bamboo, cork, wood, clay, the list goes on) bring with them a breezy atmospheric enhancement! It easy to create a warm and welcoming environment when paired with warm bulbs.

Another feature we love, their versatility! You could style a room around one light fixture, or add a few small shades to brighten things up, the possibilities are endless. Indoor or outdoor, modern or rustic, neutral tone or multi-colored, you can find a shade or fixture to fit your space.

Our history

This business, like many small businesses, evolved from a friendship between two ambitious young professionals. Brook Gardner, an engineer from Virginia, and Mark Fox, an architect from Kentucky, discovered a common interest in designing and renovating buildings when they became neighbors in Center City, Philadelphia. They founded their own design and consulting firm in 1987, which has grown into Gardner/Fox.
