Updating the late 19^th century floor plans required significant new program spaces and alterations to the existing building footprint and masonry, including an attached 2-car garage, side entry, mudroom, and pantry. The restoration received the Best of the Best Design Award for the best project overall in a national remodeling competition. It also received the inaugural Historic Preservation Award from Radnor Township.
