The Shipley School’s Secret Garden Tour took place on Wednesday, and what a grand tour it was! Multiple garden enthusiasts generously opened their doors (or should we say gates) to the public for a sneak peek into their intricately cared for gardens, including our very own Mark Fox.

We actually visited Mark’s home (#9 on the tour) to see what he has been working on! While we know that maintaining a beautifully landscaped home and garden can be difficult, it’s clear by the images below that he is dedicated.

The Fox Residence

There is a (very appropriate) fox theme throughout the premises.

Please check out The Shipley School website if you would like to donate to the school, or get on their list for next year’s Secret Garden Tour! We’re very proud to have been chosen to participate in this event and look forward to next year’s tour!

Our history

This business, like many small businesses, evolved from a friendship between two ambitious young professionals. Brook Gardner, an engineer from Virginia, and Mark Fox, an architect from Kentucky, discovered a common interest in designing and renovating buildings when they became neighbors in Center City, Philadelphia. They founded their own design and consulting firm in 1987, which has grown into Gardner/Fox.
