Dutton Mill Road in Malvern, PA - Gardner/Fox designed and constructed extensive renovations and additions to transform an ordinary 1960s two-story colonial into this spacious Main Line home. The home was designed to replicate the appearance of an older Pennsylvania farmhouse, while serving the needs of today's lifestyle. Multiple additions increased the home's living space on the first and second floors.

The existing Main Line home was completely gutted and renovated, and all utility systems, including the heating, air conditioning and electrical systems were replaced.The enlarged kitchen and breakfast room include custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and commercial grade appliances. The family room renovation included vaulted ceilings, a new stone fireplace and custom cabinetry. The new sun room addition features radiant in-floor heating and custom tile work. Extensive custom cabinetry created the perfect home office.

The addition of new dormer windows, field stone veneer walls, custom cedar shutters and new Pella window units enhanced the exterior of the home. The installation of bluestone patios and walkways completed the project.
