Award Winning Kitchen Remodel in Princeton
Princeton, New Jersey - Gardner/Fox provided architecture and construction services to complete extensive interior renovations to a 1920s European inspired manor home in New Jersey. The project captured several awards, including first prize in Crystal Cabinet Works 2004 National Kitchen of the Year Award, a National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Contractor of the Year Award from the DelChester chapter of NARI, and a Merit Award from Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine's Kitchen of the Year Award. The project was also featured on the cover of the February 2004 issue of Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine.
The project includes renovations to the kitchen, breakfast room, pantry, family room, bedroom, bathrooms and computer room. A two-story connector constructed in the former breezeway created a first-floor mudroom and a second-floor entrance to a newly remodeled game room above the existing garage. A custom curved staircase was installed in the foyer.
Combining three existing rooms into one space created a large inviting kitchen/breakfast room where friends and family comfortably gather. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a large, custom-designed kitchen island that accommodates seating, appliances and cabinet space. Solid mahogany arched doors open from the breakfast room onto a walled garden, inviting the outdoors in.
Gardner/Fox provided architecture, construction, and interior design services.
