Dining Room Renovation in Philly Condo
Pennsylvania Avenue in Philadelphia, PA - After living in one condo unit for 15 or so years, the homeowners wanted a little more from their home sweet home, so they scooped up the neighbor's unit when it went up for sale. Then they hired us, award-winning renovation firm Gardner/Fox, to guide them through the design and construction process of stitching the two units together.
A wall of the existing study was removed and the room repurposed as a dining room. Custom cabinetry separates the room from the expanded kitchen. An existing closet was converted into an easily accessible wine niche. Hand painted tiles collected by the homeowners mix with travertine tiles in the wine niche for a custom look.
