Health Spring Medical Center Renovation in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - A 75 year-old cast-in-place concrete warehouse was converted into a modern 21,000 square-foot medical center within a twelve week occupancy schedule. The renovation included a 9,000 square-foot physical rehabilitation facility, 11,000 square feet of multi-tenant office space, and a 48-car underground parking garage. The space was divided into approximately one hundred offices, exam rooms and meeting rooms along with specialized x-ray, mammography and dark rooms.
New electrical, HVAC, and sprinkler systems modernized the facility. The existing elevator was relocated and refurbished to meet modern standards. The building's exterior featurea an EIFS clad wall system with tinted glass and ground face block details and an EPDM ballasted main roof system with raised seam metal roof details.
