AS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR Gardner/Fox will team with your architect to manage your project in strict accordance with your facilities procedures. Our pre-construction team will consult with you and your architect to establish a clear scope of work and expectations. Our estimating team will ensure that every detail of the project is defined, while selecting the most qualified subcontractors to bid and perform the work. Project managers and site superintendents will closely oversee workmanship and will maintain the integrated project schedule.
IN A DESIGN/BUILD CAPACITY Gardner/Fox becomes the single source of responsibility for the planning, design, construction and occupancy of the facility. The design/build approach allows us to develop realistic budgets and schedules during the earliest stages of the project. At the end of the day, it also results in a 25 percent reduction in the project schedule through early procurements, elimination of the bid/negotiation/contract phase and fast-track concurrency of the final design and construction start.
